"For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. " Jn 3:16

The Holy Spirit Within - His Role as our Helper & Comforter

Earlier in our previous studies, we notice in the Gospel according to John chapter 14 verses 16 to 18 that the Holy Spirit is a Comforter, a Counselor, a Helper, an Intercessor, an Advocate, a Strengthener, and a Standby. The above itemises what the Holy Spirit came to do, in the believer, in you and I, on a continual basis - even in these times of great fear and political and financial tumult. So according to Jesus' Word - and we ought to believe His report - when we need help we don't need to run around frantically, almost in a frenzy, just trying to find someone to pray for us. We should not forget that on the inside of us, we have a Divine Helper. Say it aloud - break the sound barrier, "I have a Divine Helper on the inside of me and He is helping me now in Jesus name...". You don't have to pray for a Helper; we already have the Helper in us - someone shout glory!

CONFESSION - Jesus I thank You for the precious Gift of a Divine Helper who lives BIG on the inside of me to help me. He remains my Advocate and Comforter - thank You Lord.
