"Except the Lord builds the house,
they labor in vain who build
it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but
in vain." Ps 121:1 |
History
1987- 88 Kenny Ogunji receives a vision
from the Lord to build a strong, vibrant Apostolic - Word of Faith Centre
with over 1000 membership.
1988- 89 - By divine appointment, two families with very deep
roots in the Apostolic - All Nations centre (London) move
to Luton, the Lampteys followed by the Ogunjis.
Regular front room meetings are held and the small group begins
to grow in number. Pastor Weeks (Apostle for London Region at the time)
and Pastor Les Isaac visit frequently and encourage the fellowship.
1992 - The Lord instructs Kenny to relinquish all London related
responsibilities and establish a Word of Faith Centre. The group
seeks the Lord, through prayer and fasting concerning His will for the
fellowship.
God continues to bless the fellowship with fine workers, and steadily it
begins to grow - both spiritually and numerically. Sept
1992 - Relocation to Luton Sixth Form College. Services
now held morning and evening. Over the years we have continued
to grow steadily and are forced to relocate a number of times
around the college campus. Jan 2000 - We have prayed,
we have sought the Lord and He has provided us with a new home.
